gPlex Hosted SoftSwitch Master Reseller Basics

One of the scalable and comprehensive SoftSwitch in the market to handle VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) call termination is gPlex Hosted SoftSwitch.

In this post I am going to discuss some common and important basics about Master / Level-3 Reseller of gPlex Switch Reseller System.

gPlex Login:
Click the following screen shot to enlarge. Type your reseller link or IP in the browser address bar and press enter. Type your Master Reseller accounts correct User name, Password and press Submit button or enter.




Changing Password:
  • After logged in using your user name & password click on the Change Password link at the top-right corner of your reseller homepage.
  • Change your password providing your old and a new password.
  • Click on the picture below to see how.



Master Reseller Homepage:
After logged in to your reseller account you will see a page like the following screen shot.
Total number of your active user's (Level-2), their call history, revenue, reseller cost, ASR (Average Success Rate), ACD (Average Call Duration) etc will shown on Homepage.

  • Last Day: You can see last day reports clicking on the Last Day link, Previous one week report, Specific day or others.
On the left side navigation menu:
  • Search Log: Click on Search Log to see detail calls history of your users.
  • Rate: Below Search Log click on the Rate to see your Base Tariff (carrier rate). You can edit your Card Rate here. The rate plan section in gPlex is different than VSR System.
  • Call Summery: Click here to see daily call summery to various destinations. You can see previous days history too.
  • Create user: To add new User (Level-2 reseller account) click here.
  • Edit User Profile: To edit existing user, Making it active / inactive, Changing Password / Secret or changing some other options about reseller click here.
  • Generate Card: Click on this link to generate new PIN / Card number.
  • Refill Card: To refill or add balance to any generated Card / PIN number.
  • Refill Log: Refill / Payment history of your Cards / PINs. Click on this link and select the "from" and "to" date and press Show.
  • Card Management: Click on this link to see all your resellers (user / level 2) Card number.
  • Add Amount to user: Click to add amount or balance to your user.
  • User Transaction history: Level-2 reseller account payment history, you can see date wise.
  • Transaction History: This link will tell you your total payment record that your provider gave you.
  • Current Calls: This is link that you can see your current reseller calls.

IP to IP Call Termination in VSR System - Adding GW Client

In this post I am going to discuss how to add IP in VSR System (VoIP Switch Reseller System).

For IP to IP call termination in VSR System you need to create GW client from Level-1 reseller. The level creation is same as before I discussed in some of my previous posts. You can take a look at the VoIP Tutorial section in this blog. These will help all new users.

IP can be added in Level-1 Reseller account. As we saw that we can create PIN or GK/Register Clients or Common Clients or even PC2Phone Clients in Level-1. Similarly in VSR System IP address (Internet Protocol) can be added in Level-1 reseller account.
Level-2 will give permission to Level-1 and Level-3 will give permission to Level-2 and the Admin will give permission to Level-3 to add GW Client.


Level-1 Homepage (for GW Client):
Click the following screen shot to enlarge. This is the Level-1 homepage, log in using your VSR user and password the following screen will appear.
  • At the left side click Active Calls to see current calls.
  • Click on Base Tariff to see your provider Base Tariff.
  • Click on the Show link below GW Client to show your current added clients.
  • To add new Client click Add below "GW Client".
  • A new page will shown.




Add GW Client in VSR System:
  • Click on the Add link below "GW Client"
  • A new page will appear containing lots of blank field.
  • In the Login field enter the GW Client login name.
  • Enter password in the Password field.
  • Leave Calls Limit blank to give no limit to number of calls.
  • Select the Active check box.
  • In the connection properties select your default Codec system.
  • The default could be G729, H711A, G711U etc.
  • Select Tariff and finally click on the OK button to finalize the creation.



Show Added GW Client in VSR System:
  • Click an the Show link to show added account.
  • Click the following picture to enlarge.
  • For every created account you will see their balance, calls limit etc...
  • Click on the account login name to see more details.



How to add IP and payment:
  • Click on the GW Client's login name.
  • You can edit the account.
  • On the right side type the IP address in the provided box (see screen shot)
  • Click on Add to add IP (for example 000.000.000.000).
  • You can add more than one IP and also can add a range of IP (enter start and end range and click add).
  • To remove an IP select the IP and click on Remove Selected.
  • To add balance click on Add Payment button, a new window will appear. Enter amount, date end press Add.
  • Finally click OK to finalize the process.


Now start IP to IP call termination. Before starting make sure all reseller settings are OK and all account must have balance.

Monitoring VoIP Switch Reseller Level - VSR

If you want to run your VSR Reseller account you need to monitor it regularly. In this post I will discuss about some basic and important monitoring operations for VoIP Switch Reseller program (Level-3 and Level-2). For those who are new to VSR System and getting some interests to reading this post are requested to read VSR Basics.

The below screen shot is of Reseller Level-3 or Level-2 homepage. Click on the picture below to enlarge it and understand more details..



Active Calls:
Click on the Active Calls link from the left side menu. You will see the total number of concurrent calls including destination number, origination reseller and PIN, Total talk time etc. Click on the blue color REFRESH button at the right side, every time the page will updated.



Base Tariff:
Click on the Base Tariff link to see your buying rate of your voice carrier (route, minute etc). You will see all destinations including Name, Prefix, Rate per minute, and some other info. Check regularly weather your provider has updated it or not.



Changing Rate / Tariff
Its better to create different rates for different users. Since you are going to do some business with this, I think !
After creating a new tariff click on the tariff name at left side. Page like the following screen shot will appear. Click on the ADD button to add new destination. 
To change any rate just click on the destination name, another new page will appear.



Changing Properties:
You will see different fields including Destination description/name, Rate per minute, Prefix etc. you can edit all these fields. After changing the properties click on OK button at the below of the page.



Add Payment on Reseller:
After clicking on the Show link below "Reseller" a page including the list of all resellers. Click on the reseller Login name.



Click on the Add Payment Button. A new window will appear, enter your amount, type, date, description  and press Add button. Than click on Close.



Own payment history
On the homepage there is a link named Payment History. Click on that link to see total payment history of your own reseller. How much your provide gave you, when etc. You can see payment report for specific time. Enter "from" and "to" date correctly and press Apply button.

Creating GK / Register Clients in VSR System

Creating GK / Register Clients for Mobile Dialer in VSR System is same as creating PC2Phone Clients. This topic will cover and give you a basic idea about how to generate single or multiple PIN / Gk Register clients.

First Log into your reseller level-1 homepage.
If you already read my previous post about how to create PC2Phone clients, than it will be easy for you because its same.


Reseller Level-1 Homepage:




Single Mobile dialer PIN / GK Register client:
  • Click the following screen shot to enlarge. Log into your VSR reseller account.
  • To create a single GK / register client click on the Add link below "GK / Register Clients".
  • A new page will appear.
  • In the Login field, type a number or character or both (This will be PIN login/user).
  • In the Password field type your PIN password.
  • Select Tariff (you can create new tariff or use your base tariff).
  • Select the Active Check Box to activate the PIN.
  • Click on OK button to complete the generation process.




Multiple PIN or GK/Register Clients:
  • You can generate multiple Mobile Dialer PIN or GK/Register Clients using this method. At a time you can generate 50 / 100 or more no of PINs.
  • Go to the reseller Homepage. Click on Add Lot link below "Account Generation". The following page will appear. See the below screen shot for more details.
  • Fill up all required fields.
  • Write Description of the Lot. Enter total Number of clients (how many PIN you want to generate).
  • Enter Starting serial (usually 1). Select GK/Register Clients.
  • Select your tariff.
  • Enter Amount (the provided amount will same for every PIN).
  • Now enter Login details (starting character, total number of character etc.). Select the appropriate check boxes if needed.
  • Enter Password details (starting characters, total number of clients etc).
  • In the connection settings option select SIP or H323.
  • After completing all the required fields just simply click on OK button at the bottom of the page.
  • Your desired number of PIN's will be generated. Now activate all the PINs by clicking on Activate button or you can activate single PIN individually by clicking on the PIN's Login name.




How to recharge and activate PIN:
  • Go to your reseller Homepage.
  • Click on the Show link below GK / Register Clients.
  • You will see all generated PIN / Clients.
  • See the below Picture, here only one PIN is shown because there is only one generated PIN.
  • Now click on the Login name of the PIN. you will see all details about the PIN including Login, Password, Calls limit, Balance etc.
  • Click on the red color Add Payment button to add balance on the selected PIN.
  • Remember if you already added amount during PIN or Lot generation than you don't need to add any initial payment.
  • You will see a Active check box, by clicking on this box you can activate or inactive the PIN.



Another client type is Common Clients. This type of PIN can be used both in Mobile dialer and PC Dialer. The generating method is same as PC to Phone Clients or GK/Register Clients.

Creating PC2Phone Clients using VSR System

This post is about how to create PC to Phone Clients / PIN using VSR System (VoIP Switch Reseller System). Direct PIN / Clients can be created in Level-1 reseller. If you already know how to create reseller level-2 and level-1 than its good. Otherwise you can take a look at my previous post. I think these posts will help every new user a lot.

Homepage of Level-1 reseller:

Click the following screen shot to enlarge. After logged in using level-1 user and password you will see the following screen.

If you want to create a single PC2Phone PIN / Clients just click on the Add link below PC2Phone Client. A screen will appear.
To see already generated PIN or after creating PIN, just click on Show link.


Similarly if you want to create single GK/Register clients which can be used in Mobile Dialer version. Just click on the Add link below GK/Register Clients.
If you want to see existing clients just click on the Show link.


Now if you want to create multiple PIN (PC2Phone or GK Register Clients) than click on Add Lot link below "Account Generation".

You can create 50 / 100 or more PIN at the same time. Click on the following screen shot to enlarge, it will be more helpful.







Creat Single PC2Phone Client:
After clicking on the Add Pc2Phone clients the following screen will appear. Here you will see some fields. You need to filled up these fields.
In the Login field, type a number or character or both (This will be PIN login/user).
In the Password field type your PIN password.
Select Tariff (you can create new tariff or use your base tariff).
Select the Active Check Box to activate the PIN.
Finally click OK button.



How to Add Lot:
You can generate multiple PIN / Clients using this method. At time you can generate 50 / 100 or more nos of PIN.
Go to the reseller Homepage. Click on Add Lot link below "Account Generation". The following page will appear. See the below screen shot for more details.
Fill up the required fields.
Write description of the Lot. Enter total number of clients (how many PIN you want to generate). Enter starting serial (usually 1). Select PC2Phone Clients. Select your tariff. Enter amount (the provided amount will same for every PIN).
Now enter login details (starting character, total number of character etc.). Select the appropriate check boxes if needed.
Enter Password details (starting characters, total number of clients etc).
In the connection settings option select SIP or H323.
After completing all the required fields just simply click on OK button at the bottom of the page. your desired number of PIN's will be generated. Now activate all the PINs by clicking on Activate button or you can activate single PIN individually by clicking on the PIN's Login name.
