Setting for GRAND STREAM SIP Devices with VoIP Buster

There are various SIP devices in the market GRAND STREAM is a very much well known. In this post SIP settings for this device will be described. SIP settings with VoIP Buster for the following devices:

GRANDSTREAM HT386

1. GRAND STREAM HT286:
  • SIP server: sip.voipbuster.com
  • Outbound proxy: sip.voipbuster.com
  • SIP User ID: Your VoIP Buster username, this is the username you used for the registration of your Voip Buster-account
  • Authenticate Password: Your VoIP Buster password, this is the password you used for the registration of your Voip Buster-account
  • Name: Your name, this name will be displayed in the phone screen of the person you are calling
  • Don't change the Advanced Options.

2. GRANDSTREAM HT386:
  • SIP Server: sip.voipbuster.com
  • Outbound Proxy: sip.voipbuster.com
  • SIP User ID: Your VoIP Buster username, this is the username you used for the registration of your Voip Buster-account

How to get best sound quality:
  • Use a headset with a built-in microphone. Sometimes laptop’s built-in speaker are failed to give proper sound quality, it uses low quality microphones.

If you don't have a headset, than:
  • Use headphones instead of your computer speakers. Try moving the microphone closer or further away from your mouth.
